Stainless, every part of the door.
From the track to the smallest fastener, we engineer every component in stainless. No mixed-metal galvanic surprises three years in, no painted-over compromise.
We don't make every part for every door. We make stainless hardware for the doors that fail in places nobody else builds for: wash bays, wastewater plants, salt sheds, mines, coastal facilities, agriculture. Our work starts where standard hardware quits.
SSGDP exists because our founder spent his career on the job, watching painted galvanized hardware corrode through in the same handful of environments. Wash bays. Wastewater treatment plants. Salt-storage buildings. Industrial facilities where the air carries moisture and chemistry that off-the-shelf hardware was never engineered to survive.
The standard answer was a callback every 18 months. The better answer was hardware made of a metal that wouldn't rust in the first place.
SSGDP is a division of American Garage Door Supply, Inc., a family-run distributor founded in 1984. Our stainless line is proprietary, partly patented, and built to outlast the doors it equips by 5 to 10 times the working life of standard hardware.
From the track to the smallest fastener, we engineer every component in stainless. No mixed-metal galvanic surprises three years in, no painted-over compromise.
Our hardware is specified for car washes, wastewater facilities, salt-storage, coastal sites, mines, food processing, and any opening where humidity, chlorides, or chemical exposure shorten the life of standard hardware.
Designed, manufactured, and shipped from our Minnesota facility. Every order is filled from inventory we control, by people who know the specifiers and installers using it.
Approved dealers unlock exclusive pricing, proprietary stainless product access, and direct support from our engineering team.
